I know I said I would elaborate on the last posting, so before I go into my rambling of my hectic schedule, here goes...
I am absolutely loving job two. Love, love, love, love.
Next, we've made it into the Girdwood Forest Fair, and I am so excited! I have only sold at one show before, and it was a Christmas Bazaar. I received a lot of great comments, but not a lot of sales. Go figure; see all of my Christmas-y art? Ha. I don't either! This fair though, as I've been told, takes place in an actually forest with a bunch of nature lovers. Yay! I am hoping I will have more of an audience.
Also...drum roll please... I've moved out! Now this blog is no longer about a soon to be striving artist, but an actual striving artist. The apartment is great - it's in a nice area, it has a lot of big windows that let in the sun's love, isn't too far from work and is by a bus stop that will take me straight to the University. My room is still full of boxes, but is slowly unfolding to reveal a bright, clean space (eventually!). Sometimes, when the door has been closed, it even smells like cardboard, but I am working on that. Space is tight, and the closet is filled (hey, I'm a girl who likes her shoes, okay?!) so I am sure creative storage solutions are soon to come.
So, I am sure you can imagine my schedule - going to school, working two jobs, unpacking, still trying to paint all while keeping up favorable relationships with the people around me. It's hard work, but I am loving every second of it!
Hmm, I guess I wasn't filled with as much rambling as I thought. You get off easy, for today.
