Inspiration

I was wandering around Etsy today and every week or so they have what they call a Featured Seller, or people they found and find wonderful. This featured seller said something I really found inspiring, so I thought I would share it with you all:

"There's a great quote by Buckminster Fuller: "Fire is the sun unwinding itself from the log." I think of making art in a similar way, as an experience unwinding itself from the human mind."

Tonight I have a free night - no plans. So I am making plans right now to work on a new piece. I have already got an idea in my head. One that came to me while I was at work and listening to a song by Sara Bareilles. I jotted it down real quick on a sticky note - a tiny little, sketchy stick figure. Can't wait to show you.
